Set apart Christ as Lord…

We all have questions. And at times, we are all plagued by doubts and issues that prevent faith from flowing freely to our hearts.   So we came up with a way to openly wrestle with the deepest part of our questions and doubts, while making sure that our purpose remained clear: to always know the reason for the hope that we have in Jesus Christ, and to be prepared to share that answer with everyone who asks us about that hope.  (1 Peter 3:15)

Exodus Interactive Forum is a Christian teaching forum where we allow participants to stop the discussion at any time to talk back: participate, ask questions, offer opinions, raise objections and even challenge the presentation. We believe there is no better way to wrestle openly and honestly with the issues we face as Christians.

Some people are quick to write off anything that sounds like “knowledge” within the Christian faith.  But Paul’s best description of spiritual warfare is that we are to “demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and [take] every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”  (2 Cor. 10:5)  Today, there is no shortage of arguments that are advanced against the Christian faith, while there is simultaneously a dearth of Christians who have taken the time to examine their faith at a level that could withstand these challenges.  Many times, we as Christians prefer to bask in the warm glow of spiritual experience and emotional highs, which do very well for us for a season, but often fare poorly when we encounter suffering, trials or the challenges of others.  Worse, they can leave us ill-equipped to respond to friends who have serious and well-intentioned questions that are holding them back from putting their trust in Christ.

In our effort to examine, wrestle through and hopefully demolish the arguments that stand against the knowledge of God, our purpose is not simply to defend the Christian faith, but to make sure that our own faith is alive and vibrant, that it is confident and full of love, and that we are maturing beyond simple formulations of our faith to become deeply rooted in love for God and others.

Because we are stewards of God’s time and resource, our main purpose is to glorify God and affirm our faith and trust in His son Jesus Christ.  No matter how interactive or thoughtful a forum might become, absent a solid commitment to abiding together in Christ, it would all be just talk.
